iphoneskinner

Designers and fanatics take note, our friends over at ModMyiPhone have unleashed their new iPhone skinning tool iPhone Skinner. This web app allows you to upload various images for the background, icons, dock, etc onto a virtual iPhone. It’s a great tool to make sure your icons line up, and your colors are flowing nicely on your theme. The app can also create an .ipb file, which can be put on your iPhone using InstallIPB by timblade. This new tool will stir up all those creative minds out there who want to express their artistic style on the iPhone. Documentation and instructions are coming, so either sit tight, or fire up Photoshop!

The candy paint Colorware iPhone

green iPhone

Colorware has been bringing custom automotive quality paint jobs to all your tech toys ever since the iPod… and Doc Macenstein has taken the plunge and candy appled his iPhone. Colorware’s full paint job procedure will run you $219, and 3 weeks without your iPhone. The warranty is obviously void, but Colorware will take over the Apple warranty and stand behind you and your colorful decision. Their paint jobs have always turned heads, but I’d be pretty pissed if I dropped my iPhone, let alone a newly painted one.
